These t-strap heels by Seychelles are a perfect pick for Spring! The shimmering green and beige colors fit right into the hottest color pallets seen on the Runways for this season. Wear them with opaque tights, a floral dress and a nude cardigan now and wear them with your favorite nude skirt and denim skirt in the Summer.
Today’s daily love affair is with this gorgeous waistcoat from TopShop.com. It is a great Spring/Summer piece that can be worn now with a blazer or cardigan. The color along with the crochet detailing at the back make this piece a perfect part of your Spring 2011 collection. It is not only feminine and flirty but also structured and sophisticated. Definitely a piece that can be worn from day to night. If I had an extra $90 laying around, it would be mine!
An absolute must have item for the transition from Winter into Spring is the open cardigan. I decided to go with two neutral and wearable colors: Black & Oatmeal. I purchased these two cardigans last week from Kensie.com (with an extra 20% off discount that ended on Feb 1).
I was very impressed with the ordering process through the Kensie.com site. They processed the order quickly & kept me notified about when my shipment would arrive. It is actually surprising to me how many online retailers keep you in the dark about where your orders is. Anyway, I ordered a small (which is what I normally wear) and it fits perfectly. The material is very good quality and the sweater is nice and thick. It has light ribbing on the inner arms and pockets which are super convenient. The rolled hem and draped fit make it stylish but simple. This sweater is also available in “neutral” which looks like a light cream color in the pictures. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a basic cardigan to transition their wardrobe from winter into spring.
The second cardigan I got from Kensie was this soft cotton blend one in a size Large. They were out of all the other sizes so I decided to give the large a try. After trying it on, I realized that it fits just like the small. Good for me, but I worry about anyone who normally wears a large. There is literally no difference between the way the small black one fits and the way this oatmeal colored large one fits. The draping on this one is a bit different than the black one. It has more of a waterfall effect in the front and the ribbing on the sleeves goes from the cuff to the mid forearm. This one does not have pockets, but fits very nicely and is extremely comfortable. It is only available in “oatmeal” but it is a very neutral color that fits nicely into the nude color themes for Spring.
Ran across these today and fell in love. The light denim mixed with the orange contrast stitching are a perfect color combination for Spring. They would go great with Khaki cropped pants, boyfriend jeans, or nude/tan colored shorts. Probably not a practical buy, but certainly something to lust after!
